Great stay with clean rooms.

We visited the New River Gorge and took a scenic hike. The breakfast was decent, and the room was clean and comfy enough for our group. Just a heads up, the pool was closed for the season, so plan accordingly.

One downside was the noisy kids above us, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. We wished we had requested a higher floor.

the comfort inn is super close to the main visitor center of the national park. the staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us. we loved the comfortable beds, making our stay restful. the fitness center was great to keep active during our time there.

Breakfast offered a good variety, including protein options like scrambled eggs and sausage, which surpassed our prior hotel experience. However, the breakfast area felt cramped, especially during busy hours, and some stains were noted on the carpeting, although that’s common. The atmosphere was lively, so if you prefer quiet, it might be a consideration.

Great spot for rafting!

We stayed here for 2 nights while doing some rafting, and it couldn't be in a better spot, just 15 mins to Ace Rafting. The room was clean and comfy, and breakfast was surprisingly good—better than a more expensive hotel we stayed in the week before. Just wish the shower curtain was a bit cleaner.

I loved the proximity to New River Gorge National Park and the nearby New River Gorge Bridge, which made it super easy for me to enjoy the stunning scenery and go for long walks in nature, and the check-in experience was fantastic as the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay with a very clean room.

The breakfast had a good variety to satisfy everyone, and the location made it easy to access the New River Gorge for our outdoor adventures.
